The night prayer · Tahajjud family

Tahajjud — with Allah in the last part of the night

The path of Allah's beloved servants runs through the night prayer. Here we try to rise together — your own record, a 40-night pledge, small halaqas that encourage one another, and dua for each other in tahajjud.

After tahajjud — with the Qur'an

How to begin

  1. 1

    Sleep early, with intention

Sleep soon after Isha, intending to rise.

  2. 2

    Rise in the last part

Set an alarm for the last third of the night. Get up and make wudu.

  3. 3

    Start small, stay steady

Begin with two rak'ahs and add as you are able. If you pray witr at the end of the night, pray it after tahajjud.

  4. 4

    Dua in your own words

In sujud and after the prayer, ask openly — for yourself, your family, and those who asked for dua here.

Tahajjud halaqas

Small groups of 5–10 — see who has risen, and send dua and encouragement to those who haven't yet.
