Al-Qari'ah · 101:7

In context

1. يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ

   101:4It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed

2. وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ

   101:5And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up

3. فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

   101:6Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds]

4. فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ

   101:7He will be in a pleasant life

5. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

   101:8But as for one whose scales are light

6. فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ

   101:9His refuge will be an abyss

7. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ

   101:10And what can make you know what that is
