Al-Qari'ah · 101:8

In context

1. وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ

   101:5And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up

2. فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

   101:6Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds]

3. فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ

   101:7He will be in a pleasant life

4. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

   101:8But as for one whose scales are light

5. فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ

   101:9His refuge will be an abyss

6. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ

   101:10And what can make you know what that is

7. نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ

   101:11It is a Fire, intensely hot
