In context

1. فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٖ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱتَّبِعۡ أَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدٞ وَٱمۡضُواْ حَيۡثُ تُؤۡمَرُونَ

   15:65So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded

2. وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقۡطُوعٞ مُّصۡبِحِينَ

   15:66And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning

3. وَجَآءَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ

   15:67And the people of the city came rejoicing

4. قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيۡفِي فَلَا تَفۡضَحُونِ

   15:68[Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me

5. وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ

   15:69And fear Allah and do not disgrace me

6. قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ نَنۡهَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   15:70They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people

7. قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِيٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ

   15:71[Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]
