In context

1. قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيۡفِي فَلَا تَفۡضَحُونِ

   15:68[Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me

2. وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ

   15:69And fear Allah and do not disgrace me

3. قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ نَنۡهَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   15:70They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people

4. قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِيٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ

   15:71[Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]

5. لَعَمۡرُكَ إِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ

   15:72By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly

6. فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُشۡرِقِينَ

   15:73So the shriek seized them at sunrise

7. فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

   15:74And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay
