Al-Mu'minun · 23:55

In context

1. وَإِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦٓ أُمَّتُكُمۡ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ وَأَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمۡ فَٱتَّقُونِ

   23:52And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me

2. فَتَقَطَّعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَهُم بَيۡنَهُمۡ زُبُرٗاۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ فَرِحُونَ

   23:53But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing

3. فَذَرۡهُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَتِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ

   23:54So leave them in their confusion for a time

4. أَيَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُم بِهِۦ مِن مَّالٖ وَبَنِينَ

   23:55Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children

5. نُسَارِعُ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِۚ بَل لَّا يَشۡعُرُونَ

   23:56Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive

6. إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنۡ خَشۡيَةِ رَبِّهِم مُّشۡفِقُونَ

   23:57Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord

7. وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

   23:58And they who believe in the signs of their Lord
