Ash-Shu'ara · 26:108

In context

1. كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   26:105The people of Noah denied the messengers

2. إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   26:106When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah

3. إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

   26:107Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger

4. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:108So fear Allah and obey me

5. وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   26:109And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds

6. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:110So fear Allah and obey me

7. ۞قَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤۡمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلۡأَرۡذَلُونَ

   26:111They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]
