Ash-Shu'ara · 26:11

In context

1. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:8Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers

2. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   26:9And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

3. وَإِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱئۡتِ ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

   26:10And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people

4. قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ

   26:11The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah

5. قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ

   26:12He said, "My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me

6. وَيَضِيقُ صَدۡرِي وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِي فَأَرۡسِلۡ إِلَىٰ هَٰرُونَ

   26:13And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron

7. وَلَهُمۡ عَلَيَّ ذَنۢبٞ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقۡتُلُونِ

   26:14And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me
