Ash-Shu'ara · 26:113

In context

1. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:110So fear Allah and obey me

2. ۞قَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤۡمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلۡأَرۡذَلُونَ

   26:111They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]

3. قَالَ وَمَا عِلۡمِي بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

   26:112He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do

4. إِنۡ حِسَابُهُمۡ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّيۖ لَوۡ تَشۡعُرُونَ

   26:113Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive

5. وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:114And I am not one to drive away the believers

6. إِنۡ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ

   26:115I am only a clear warner

7. قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ يَٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَرۡجُومِينَ

   26:116They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned
