Ash-Shu'ara · 26:114

In context

1. ۞قَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤۡمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلۡأَرۡذَلُونَ

   26:111They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]

2. قَالَ وَمَا عِلۡمِي بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

   26:112He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do

3. إِنۡ حِسَابُهُمۡ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّيۖ لَوۡ تَشۡعُرُونَ

   26:113Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive

4. وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:114And I am not one to drive away the believers

5. إِنۡ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ

   26:115I am only a clear warner

6. قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ يَٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَرۡجُومِينَ

   26:116They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned

7. قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي كَذَّبُونِ

   26:117He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me
