Ash-Shu'ara · 26:119

In context

1. قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ يَٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَرۡجُومِينَ

   26:116They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned

2. قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي كَذَّبُونِ

   26:117He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me

3. فَٱفۡتَحۡ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَهُمۡ فَتۡحٗا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِيَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:118Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers

4. فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ

   26:119So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship

5. ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا بَعۡدُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ

   26:120Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones

6. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:121Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers

7. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   26:122And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful
