Ash-Shu'ara · 26:121

In context

1. فَٱفۡتَحۡ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَهُمۡ فَتۡحٗا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِيَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:118Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers

2. فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ

   26:119So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship

3. ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا بَعۡدُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ

   26:120Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones

4. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:121Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers

5. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   26:122And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

6. كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٌ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   26:123Aad denied the messengers

7. إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   26:124When their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear Allah
