Ash-Shu'ara · 26:122

In context

1. فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ

   26:119So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship

2. ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا بَعۡدُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ

   26:120Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones

3. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:121Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers

4. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   26:122And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

5. كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٌ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   26:123Aad denied the messengers

6. إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   26:124When their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear Allah

7. إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

   26:125Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger
