Ash-Shu'ara · 26:125

In context

1. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   26:122And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

2. كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٌ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   26:123Aad denied the messengers

3. إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   26:124When their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear Allah

4. إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

   26:125Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger

5. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:126So fear Allah and obey me

6. وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   26:127And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds

7. أَتَبۡنُونَ بِكُلِّ رِيعٍ ءَايَةٗ تَعۡبَثُونَ

   26:128Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves
