Ash-Shu'ara · 26:134

In context

1. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:131So fear Allah and obey me

2. وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

   26:132And fear He who provided you with that which you know

3. أَمَدَّكُم بِأَنۡعَٰمٖ وَبَنِينَ

   26:133Provided you with grazing livestock and children

4. وَجَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ

   26:134And gardens and springs

5. إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ

   26:135Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day

6. قَالُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡنَآ أَوَعَظۡتَ أَمۡ لَمۡ تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡوَٰعِظِينَ

   26:136They said, "It is all the same to us whether you advise or are not of the advisors

7. إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا خُلُقُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

   26:137This is not but the custom of the former peoples
