Ash-Shu'ara · 26:143

In context

1. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   26:140And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

2. كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   26:141Thamud denied the messengers

3. إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ صَٰلِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   26:142When their brother Salih said to them, "Will you not fear Allah

4. إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

   26:143Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger

5. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:144So fear Allah and obey me

6. وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   26:145And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds

7. أَتُتۡرَكُونَ فِي مَا هَٰهُنَآ ءَامِنِينَ

   26:146Will you be left in what is here, secure [from death]
