Ash-Shu'ara · 26:151

In context

1. وَزُرُوعٖ وَنَخۡلٖ طَلۡعُهَا هَضِيمٞ

   26:148And fields of crops and palm trees with softened fruit

2. وَتَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتٗا فَٰرِهِينَ

   26:149And you carve out of the mountains, homes, with skill

3. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:150So fear Allah and obey me

4. وَلَا تُطِيعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ

   26:151And do not obey the order of the transgressors

5. ٱلَّذِينَ يُفۡسِدُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا يُصۡلِحُونَ

   26:152Who cause corruption in the land and do not amend

6. قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَحَّرِينَ

   26:153They said, "You are only of those affected by magic

7. مَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا فَأۡتِ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

   26:154You are but a man like ourselves, so bring a sign, if you should be of the truthful
