Ash-Shu'ara · 26:164

In context

1. إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   26:161When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah

2. إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

   26:162Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger

3. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:163So fear Allah and obey me

4. وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   26:164And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds

5. أَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلذُّكۡرَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   26:165Do you approach males among the worlds

6. وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمۡ رَبُّكُم مِّنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٌ عَادُونَ

   26:166And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing

7. قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ يَٰلُوطُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُخۡرَجِينَ

   26:167They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted
