Ash-Shu'ara · 26:174

In context

1. إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

   26:171Except an old woman among those who remained behind

2. ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

   26:172Then We destroyed the others

3. وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّطَرٗاۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ

   26:173And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned

4. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:174Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers

5. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   26:175And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

6. كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ لۡـَٔيۡكَةِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   26:176The companions of the thicket denied the messengers

7. إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   26:177When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah
