Ash-Shu'ara · 26:176

In context

1. وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّطَرٗاۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ

   26:173And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned

2. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:174Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers

3. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   26:175And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

4. كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ لۡـَٔيۡكَةِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   26:176The companions of the thicket denied the messengers

5. إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   26:177When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah

6. إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

   26:178Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger

7. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:179So fear Allah and obey me
