Ash-Shu'ara · 26:180

In context

1. إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   26:177When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah

2. إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

   26:178Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger

3. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

   26:179So fear Allah and obey me

4. وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   26:180And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds

5. ۞أَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَلَا تَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُخۡسِرِينَ

   26:181Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss

6. وَزِنُواْ بِٱلۡقِسۡطَاسِ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمِ

   26:182And weigh with an even balance

7. وَلَا تَبۡخَسُواْ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِينَ

   26:183And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption
