Ash-Shu'ara · 26:212

In context

1. ذِكۡرَىٰ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ

   26:209As a reminder; and never have We been unjust

2. وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتۡ بِهِ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ

   26:210And the devils have not brought the revelation down

3. وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لَهُمۡ وَمَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ

   26:211It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able

4. إِنَّهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلسَّمۡعِ لَمَعۡزُولُونَ

   26:212Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed

5. فَلَا تَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُعَذَّبِينَ

   26:213So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished

6. وَأَنذِرۡ عَشِيرَتَكَ ٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَ

   26:214And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred

7. وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:215And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers
