In context

1. هَلۡ أُنَبِّئُكُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَن تَنَزَّلُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ

   26:221Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend

2. تَنَزَّلُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٖ

   26:222They descend upon every sinful liar

3. يُلۡقُونَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ كَٰذِبُونَ

   26:223They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars

4. وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡغَاوُۥنَ

   26:224And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them

5. أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّهُمۡ فِي كُلِّ وَادٖ يَهِيمُونَ

   26:225Do you not see that in every valley they roam

6. وَأَنَّهُمۡ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفۡعَلُونَ

   26:226And that they say what they do not do

7. إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَذَكَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا وَٱنتَصَرُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا ظُلِمُواْۗ وَسَيَعۡلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٖ يَنقَلِبُونَ

   26:227Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned
