Ash-Shu'ara · 26:53

In context

1. قَالُواْ لَا ضَيۡرَۖ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ

   26:50They said, "No harm. Indeed, to our Lord we will return

2. إِنَّا نَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَٰيَٰنَآ أَن كُنَّآ أَوَّلَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:51Indeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers

3. ۞وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِيٓ إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ

   26:52And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued

4. فَأَرۡسَلَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ فِي ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ

   26:53Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers

5. إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَشِرۡذِمَةٞ قَلِيلُونَ

   26:54[And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band

6. وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَنَا لَغَآئِظُونَ

   26:55And indeed, they are enraging us

7. وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَٰذِرُونَ

   26:56And indeed, we are a cautious society
