Ash-Shu'ara · 26:64

In context

1. فَلَمَّا تَرَـٰٓءَا ٱلۡجَمۡعَانِ قَالَ أَصۡحَٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدۡرَكُونَ

   26:61And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken

2. قَالَ كَلَّآۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِ

   26:62[Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me

3. فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضۡرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرۡقٖ كَٱلطَّوۡدِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

   26:63Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain

4. وَأَزۡلَفۡنَا ثَمَّ ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

   26:64And We advanced thereto the pursuers

5. وَأَنجَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ

   26:65And We saved Moses and those with him, all together

6. ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

   26:66Then We drowned the others

7. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:67Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers
