Ash-Shu'ara · 26:68

In context

1. وَأَنجَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ

   26:65And We saved Moses and those with him, all together

2. ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

   26:66Then We drowned the others

3. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:67Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers

4. وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

   26:68And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

5. وَٱتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَأَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

   26:69And recite to them the news of Abraham

6. إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ

   26:70When he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship

7. قَالُواْ نَعۡبُدُ أَصۡنَامٗا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَٰكِفِينَ

   26:71They said, "We worship idols and remain to them devoted
