Ash-Shu'ara · 26:76

In context

1. أَوۡ يَنفَعُونَكُمۡ أَوۡ يَضُرُّونَ

   26:73Or do they benefit you, or do they harm

2. قَالُواْ بَلۡ وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفۡعَلُونَ

   26:74They said, "But we found our fathers doing thus

3. قَالَ أَفَرَءَيۡتُم مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡبُدُونَ

   26:75He said, "Then do you see what you have been worshipping

4. أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُمُ ٱلۡأَقۡدَمُونَ

   26:76You and your ancient forefathers

5. فَإِنَّهُمۡ عَدُوّٞ لِّيٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   26:77Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds

6. ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَنِي فَهُوَ يَهۡدِينِ

   26:78Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me

7. وَٱلَّذِي هُوَ يُطۡعِمُنِي وَيَسۡقِينِ

   26:79And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink
