Ash-Shu'ara · 26:83

In context

1. وَإِذَا مَرِضۡتُ فَهُوَ يَشۡفِينِ

   26:80And when I am ill, it is He who cures me

2. وَٱلَّذِي يُمِيتُنِي ثُمَّ يُحۡيِينِ

   26:81And who will cause me to die and then bring me to life

3. وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لِي خَطِيٓـَٔتِي يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ

   26:82And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense

4. رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي حُكۡمٗا وَأَلۡحِقۡنِي بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

   26:83[And he said], "My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous

5. وَٱجۡعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدۡقٖ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

   26:84And grant me a reputation of honor among later generations

6. وَٱجۡعَلۡنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

   26:85And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure

7. وَٱغۡفِرۡ لِأَبِيٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

   26:86And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray
