Ash-Shu'ara · 26:99

In context

1. قَالُواْ وَهُمۡ فِيهَا يَخۡتَصِمُونَ

   26:96They will say while they dispute therein

2. تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ

   26:97By Allah, we were indeed in manifest error

3. إِذۡ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   26:98When we equated you with the Lord of the worlds

4. وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ

   26:99And no one misguided us except the criminals

5. فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَٰفِعِينَ

   26:100So now we have no intercessors

6. وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٖ

   26:101And not a devoted friend

7. فَلَوۡ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةٗ فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   26:102Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers
