As-Saffat · 37:106

In context

1. فَلَمَّآ أَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلۡجَبِينِ

   37:103And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead

2. وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ أَن يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ

   37:104We called to him, "O Abraham

3. قَدۡ صَدَّقۡتَ ٱلرُّءۡيَآۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

   37:105You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

4. إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

   37:106Indeed, this was the clear trial

5. وَفَدَيۡنَٰهُ بِذِبۡحٍ عَظِيمٖ

   37:107And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice

6. وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

   37:108And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations

7. سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

   37:109Peace upon Abraham
