As-Saffat · 37:122

In context

1. وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

   37:119And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations

2. سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ

   37:120Peace upon Moses and Aaron

3. إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

   37:121Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

4. إِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   37:122Indeed, they were of Our believing servants

5. وَإِنَّ إِلۡيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   37:123And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers

6. إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   37:124When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah

7. أَتَدۡعُونَ بَعۡلٗا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ

   37:125Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators
