As-Saffat · 37:125

In context

1. إِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   37:122Indeed, they were of Our believing servants

2. وَإِنَّ إِلۡيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   37:123And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers

3. إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

   37:124When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah

4. أَتَدۡعُونَ بَعۡلٗا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ

   37:125Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators

5. ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمۡ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

   37:126Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers

6. فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ

   37:127And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment]

7. إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

   37:128Except the chosen servants of Allah
