As-Saffat · 37:15

In context

1. بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُونَ

   37:12But you wonder, while they mock

2. وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَ

   37:13And when they are reminded, they remember not

3. وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَ

   37:14And when they see a sign, they ridicule

4. وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ

   37:15And say, "This is not but obvious magic

5. أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ

   37:16When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected

6. أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ

   37:17And our forefathers [as well]

7. قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ

   37:18Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible
