As-Saffat · 37:151

In context

1. فَـَٔامَنُواْ فَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ

   37:148And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time

2. فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ

   37:149So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons

3. أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثٗا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَ

   37:150Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses

4. أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنۡ إِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُولُونَ

   37:151Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say

5. وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

   37:152Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars

6. أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ

   37:153Has He chosen daughters over sons

7. مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

   37:154What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement
