As-Saffat · 37:152

In context

1. فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ

   37:149So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons

2. أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثٗا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَ

   37:150Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses

3. أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنۡ إِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُولُونَ

   37:151Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say

4. وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

   37:152Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars

5. أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ

   37:153Has He chosen daughters over sons

6. مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

   37:154What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement

7. أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   37:155Then will you not be reminded
