As-Saffat · 37:153

In context

1. أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثٗا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَ

   37:150Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses

2. أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنۡ إِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُولُونَ

   37:151Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say

3. وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

   37:152Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars

4. أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ

   37:153Has He chosen daughters over sons

5. مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

   37:154What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement

6. أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   37:155Then will you not be reminded

7. أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٞ مُّبِينٞ

   37:156Or do you have a clear authority
