As-Saffat · 37:155

In context

1. وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

   37:152Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars

2. أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ

   37:153Has He chosen daughters over sons

3. مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

   37:154What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement

4. أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   37:155Then will you not be reminded

5. أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٞ مُّبِينٞ

   37:156Or do you have a clear authority

6. فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

   37:157Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful

7. وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبٗاۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ

   37:158And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]
