As-Saffat · 37:157

In context

1. مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

   37:154What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement

2. أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   37:155Then will you not be reminded

3. أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٞ مُّبِينٞ

   37:156Or do you have a clear authority

4. فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

   37:157Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful

5. وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبٗاۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ

   37:158And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]

6. سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

   37:159Exalted is Allah above what they describe

7. إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

   37:160Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]
