As-Saffat · 37:16

In context

1. وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَ

   37:13And when they are reminded, they remember not

2. وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَ

   37:14And when they see a sign, they ridicule

3. وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ

   37:15And say, "This is not but obvious magic

4. أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ

   37:16When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected

5. أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ

   37:17And our forefathers [as well]

6. قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ

   37:18Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible

7. فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ

   37:19It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing
