As-Saffat · 37:169

In context

1. وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحُونَ

   37:166And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah

2. وَإِن كَانُواْ لَيَقُولُونَ

   37:167And indeed, the disbelievers used to say

3. لَوۡ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكۡرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

   37:168If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples

4. لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

   37:169We would have been the chosen servants of Allah

5. فَكَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

   37:170But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know

6. وَلَقَدۡ سَبَقَتۡ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   37:171And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers

7. إِنَّهُمۡ لَهُمُ ٱلۡمَنصُورُونَ

   37:172[That] indeed, they would be those given victory
