As-Saffat · 37:172

In context

1. لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

   37:169We would have been the chosen servants of Allah

2. فَكَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

   37:170But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know

3. وَلَقَدۡ سَبَقَتۡ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

   37:171And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers

4. إِنَّهُمۡ لَهُمُ ٱلۡمَنصُورُونَ

   37:172[That] indeed, they would be those given victory

5. وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ

   37:173And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome

6. فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ

   37:174So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time

7. وَأَبۡصِرۡهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ

   37:175And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see
