As-Saffat · 37:18

In context

1. وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ

   37:15And say, "This is not but obvious magic

2. أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ

   37:16When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected

3. أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ

   37:17And our forefathers [as well]

4. قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ

   37:18Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible

5. فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ

   37:19It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing

6. وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ

   37:20They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense

7. هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

   37:21[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny
