As-Saffat · 37:64

In context

1. لِمِثۡلِ هَٰذَا فَلۡيَعۡمَلِ ٱلۡعَٰمِلُونَ

   37:61For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work

2. أَذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ نُّزُلًا أَمۡ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ

   37:62Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum

3. إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهَا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

   37:63Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers

4. إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٞ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

   37:64Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire

5. طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ

   37:65Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils

6. فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ

   37:66And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies

7. ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبٗا مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ

   37:67Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water
