As-Saffat · 37:67

In context

1. إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٞ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

   37:64Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire

2. طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ

   37:65Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils

3. فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ

   37:66And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies

4. ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبٗا مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ

   37:67Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water

5. ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَإِلَى ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

   37:68Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire

6. إِنَّهُمۡ أَلۡفَوۡاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ ضَآلِّينَ

   37:69Indeed they found their fathers astray

7. فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ يُهۡرَعُونَ

   37:70So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps
