As-Saffat · 37:78

In context

1. وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٞ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَ

   37:75And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders

2. وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

   37:76And We saved him and his family from the great affliction

3. وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ

   37:77And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]

4. وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

   37:78And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations

5. سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٖ فِي ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   37:79Peace upon Noah among the worlds

6. إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

   37:80Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

7. إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   37:81Indeed, he was of Our believing servants
