As-Saffat · 37:79

In context

1. وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

   37:76And We saved him and his family from the great affliction

2. وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ

   37:77And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]

3. وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

   37:78And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations

4. سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٖ فِي ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   37:79Peace upon Noah among the worlds

5. إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

   37:80Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

6. إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

   37:81Indeed, he was of Our believing servants

7. ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

   37:82Then We drowned the disbelievers
