As-Saffat · 37:89

In context

1. أَئِفۡكًا ءَالِهَةٗ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ

   37:86Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire

2. فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   37:87Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds

3. فَنَظَرَ نَظۡرَةٗ فِي ٱلنُّجُومِ

   37:88And he cast a look at the stars

4. فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٞ

   37:89And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill

5. فَتَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ مُدۡبِرِينَ

   37:90So they turned away from him, departing

6. فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمۡ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

   37:91Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat

7. مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنطِقُونَ

   37:92What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak
