Sad · 38:65

In context

1. وَقَالُواْ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالٗا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَشۡرَارِ

   38:62And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst

2. أَتَّخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ سِخۡرِيًّا أَمۡ زَاغَتۡ عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ

   38:63Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them

3. إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقّٞ تَخَاصُمُ أَهۡلِ ٱلنَّارِ

   38:64Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire

4. قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٞۖ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ

   38:65Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing

5. رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفَّـٰرُ

   38:66Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver

6. قُلۡ هُوَ نَبَؤٌاْ عَظِيمٌ

   38:67Say, "It is great news

7. أَنتُمۡ عَنۡهُ مُعۡرِضُونَ

   38:68From which you turn away
