Sad · 38:67

In context

1. إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقّٞ تَخَاصُمُ أَهۡلِ ٱلنَّارِ

   38:64Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire

2. قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٞۖ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ

   38:65Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing

3. رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفَّـٰرُ

   38:66Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver

4. قُلۡ هُوَ نَبَؤٌاْ عَظِيمٌ

   38:67Say, "It is great news

5. أَنتُمۡ عَنۡهُ مُعۡرِضُونَ

   38:68From which you turn away

6. مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنۡ عِلۡمِۭ بِٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَخۡتَصِمُونَ

   38:69I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]

7. إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ

   38:70It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner
