In context

1. وَنَادَوۡاْ يَٰمَٰلِكُ لِيَقۡضِ عَلَيۡنَا رَبُّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُم مَّـٰكِثُونَ

   43:77And they will call, "O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Indeed, you will remain

2. لَقَدۡ جِئۡنَٰكُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ لِلۡحَقِّ كَٰرِهُونَ

   43:78We had certainly brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth, were averse

3. أَمۡ أَبۡرَمُوٓاْ أَمۡرٗا فَإِنَّا مُبۡرِمُونَ

   43:79Or have they devised [some] affair? But indeed, We are devising [a plan]

4. أَمۡ يَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسۡمَعُ سِرَّهُمۡ وَنَجۡوَىٰهُمۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ يَكۡتُبُونَ

   43:80Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers are with them recording

5. قُلۡ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَلَدٞ فَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡعَٰبِدِينَ

   43:81Say, [O Muhammad], "If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers

6. سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

   43:82Exalted is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe

7. فَذَرۡهُمۡ يَخُوضُواْ وَيَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ

   43:83So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised
